"The Australian English Course is a two-level course for adult and young adults who want to learn general English for a range of social and transactional purposes. Level 1 is for post-beginners - People who have studied some English before.

Teachers can choose whether to use the book as a starting point for their own approach to each lesson, or follow each step of the detailed teaching notes.

The authors :
David Nunan is the author of a number of successful books on language teaching . He is Associate Professor of Linguistics at Macquarie University , and Associate Director of the National Centre for English Language Teaching and Research.
Jane Lockwood has worked in Australia for the last fifteen years as a teacher , teacher trainer and materials writer.
