When wound discharge enters the Honey Gauze, the honey is released and the discharge is absorbed into the dressing. For dry wounds it is recommended to moisten the Honey Gauze Dressing with saline prior to application.- -Manuka Honey is medical grade honey and is gentle on the skin. It can be secured with a bandage or tape.
