The silicone rubber mat attached to the right hand corner allows you to put down your hot iron flat rather than vertical which considerably eases the movement. It completely eliminates the need of having an ironing board taking up your valuable space, so you can get rid of your existing board also. The Large Size of the mat 120 x 70 cm ( 47" x 28" in ) is perfect for ironing of large garments which are uncomfortable to do on a board.
