The Sargent 7407 ES Easy Shear Ring Removal Tool is a unique tool designed for fitting recovery without damaging sealing surfaces. The shearing of copper rings is easily accomplished, eliminating the labor intensive sawing of crimped rings. Suitable for use on 1/2 Inch, 5/8 Inch, 3/4 Inch, and 1 Inch PEX pipe sizes. High mechanical advantage makes shearing rings easy. Cutting blade only penetrates the PEX pipe. No fitting damage is possible with this tool. Two cuts on the ring allow the user to reclaim the fitting. Cushion grips provide comfort and are brightly colored to help prevent loss. Item application: PEX copper crimp ring removal.
